As a fitness professional who has been in the industry over 20 years - all while forging a career, starting a family, battling a chronic disease and dialing into a goal to take my fitness to another level - I get the honor - and it really is an honor - to help you achieve your health goals that will ultimately help you achieve success in others areas of your life.
Now - please don't think I think success comes from having a better body that can be flaunted all over social media. I believe success comes from realizing you have a desire to be better, setting the goal to be better, seeking out appropriate resources to help you be better and then dialing into the process to achieve better!

I have had the pleasure of working out with you for the past 3 ½ years. I very much look forward to my Wednesday mornings to continue my journey to feeling and looking stronger. You keep me motivated! I love that you are so knowledgeable in your field and manage to keep up-to-date on new ways to change up an exercise to accommodate an injury if need be. If you ask me what is the most important reason to keep working with the same personal trainer for many years I will tell you it is TRUST. Trust was, in fact, the reason why I sought Leslie in the first place. I am a 48-year-old woman. My job requires me to be active and fit, but I struggled with a shoulder injury for the last 5 years, and I have a history of lower back problems. When I found Leslie, I was so out of shape that 5 lb dumbbells felt heavy to me, and I got out of breath climbing one flight of stairs.... I chose to work with her because she was highly recommended by a neurologist I know for her work with Parkinson's patients. I thought, "This woman must possess knowledge and compassion if she is successful in working with people who have serious health challenges and yet need to push themselves." I am so happy to report that I am now capable of lifting a 55 lb barbell over my head, and that my shoulder pain has gone from everyday (and at it's extreme to prevent me from blow drying my hair or cutting vegetables) to sporadic when I abuse my stay in front of the computer.

What to expect for Competition Prep or Health Coaching?
Collect information to create your training, nutrition and/or supplement program. (1 hour and 20 minutes)
Detailed assessment and begin to create a program that will be built and adjusted to address your strength and weaknesses, training
availability, health concerns/injuries and current fitness level
Video instruction will be provided in your exercise program
Macro setting and coaching to address nutrition
Health education to continue to address your barriers will be provided
Electronic or in person communication as needed weekly to be sure things are going into the right direction
Each month thereafter
Evaluation of progress and adjustments will be made on a bi-weekly basis or more frequently if needed
Electronic communication to address topics
Creating new exercise programs and protocols and/or re-setting macros as needed
Please note it is your responsibility to ask questions, do the homework and check in appropriately as decided upon
Online and in-person clients receive about an hour each week for communication, motivation, and any other assistance needed. For in-person competition prep or health coaching, you may opt for a personal training session and/or posing/coaching session up to twice a month, which will allow for in person check-ins as well.
For scheduled training sessions, clients are asked to call 24 hours in advance, otherwise you will be charged for appointments cancelled with fewer than 24 hours notice. For monthly services, you may opt to cancel at any time, however, I do request at least a five business day cancellation notice prior to billing or you will be charged for the next month.
